How does it work?
Dabble Days takes place online via a series of video tutorials.
Starting on Monday 21st September, you will receive an email with a link to a video sharing the first stage of a Powertex project.
You will receive a new email every day with a step-by-step video guide, until the project is completed at the end of the week.
We also have a community element to Dabble Days which is where the real magic happens.
This year you have two community group options:
1. Join our private, dedicated Facebook group
or, if you are not a fan of social media,
2. Join our private, dedicated community on the learning portal
You’ll receive an email after signing up with a link to request access to both groups.
📅 Key dates:
19th September – The Facebook group opens and you’ll be accepted into the community
21st - 25th September – The event runs for five days, with step-by-step video tutorials and support
After the event – Videos remain available for a very limited time so you can catch up if needed
💡 Not on Facebook? No problem! You’ll still receive all the videos by email so you can follow along at your own pace or visit them in the brand new learning portal.

No! You can take part in Dabble Days as an observer, or you can craft along if you already have some Powertex. If you’d like to be hands-on, we’ll send out a kit list before the event so you can gather your materials.
The basics you can prepare are
A small glass bottle or jar – a small beer bottle, coke bottle or similar is ideal. Glass is best or you can upcycle a plastic bottle.
Aluminium foil
Masking tape or paper tape
Pebbles, sand or something to add weight to your bottle is useful but not essential
There is a surprise finishing touch too but we can't tell you what just yet!
Get ready to join the fun!
Dabble Days is a celebration of creativity, connection, and community. If you’re feeling inspired as the season of making is upon us, this is the perfect opportunity. And if you’ve been Powertexing for a while but lost your mojo, this is where you’ll find it again!
Sign up now, and we’ll send you all the details you need to join us. But be warned, you may just become a Powertex addict!

Step beyond the flat canvas and explore what happens when texture, structure and mixed media become part of your creative toolkit.
Cath Ambler – I absolutely loved every step of dabble day , thank you so much. It was great to feel part of a community of likely minded Powertex addicts 😊. The way it was explained step by step was clear and encouraging. I loved looking at everyone else's work and the differences between our interpretations of the same thing. Everyone's is individual and beautiful. thank you so much for for your hard work Michele Brewer and making it all possible. Very much looking forward to being one of your Gold Stars
Leanne Gaudette Baldwin – Loved it now to find time to finish my bowls, thank you for getting me back in the studio!
Claire Hayward – My first time and I love it. The community especially. My biggest problem is time and I often don't create as I don't feel I gave hours to do in one go. This has made me realise I can do little and often. Even just half an hour is fine. I'm also now an official stone art superfan!

Do I need to be on Facebook?
No! You can still take part and receive daily emails with the tutorial videos. However, the Facebook group is where all the real-time interaction, community support, and live events happen, so we highly recommend joining if you can.
What is the Community Group?
This year, we’re trying something brand new! Alongside our usual private Facebook group, you’ll also have access to a dedicated Dabble Days Community Group inside the brand new Learning Portal, away from social media and totally separate.
We know that not everyone uses Facebook – and some of you would quite happily never set foot on social media again! So we wanted to make sure you can still enjoy the community side of Dabble Days without needing a Facebook account.
Inside the Community Group you’ll be able to chat with other Dabblers, share what you’re making, ask questions, swap ideas and enjoy all the encouragement and camaraderie that makes Dabble Days so much fun.
You don’t have to use both. The Facebook group will still be there for those who love it, while the new Community Group gives you an alternative way to join in. Choose whichever suits you best – or, of course, come and play in both!
